Mikenzie Orozco (She/Her) is a policy, politics and communication strategist with extensive experience in state government. She worked to advance effective policy and legislation to strengthen government responsiveness and has led high-stakes communications, legislative and ballot initiatives.

Mikenzie has expertise managing narrative campaigns, overseeing media strategy and providing strategic counsel to elected officials, government offices and advocacy organizations.

Prior to collective. Mikenzie served as the Staff Director for the House Democratic Caucus in the Utah State Legislature. Her experience includes the Utah House of Representatives, Utah Governor Gary Herbert and the Salt Lake City Mayor’s Office, where she focused on legislative strategy, community engagement and policy coordination. Mikenzie is based in Los Angeles, CA.
