Mario (He/Him) is a dynamic bilingual communications and digital strategist with 9 years of experience. Previously he worked at two leading Sacramento Public Affairs agencies, Lucas Public Affairs and Mercury Public Affairs. Mario was the Communications Manager at the California Democratic Party and served as Digital Director for Democratic Party Chair, Rusty Hicks’ election campaign. Mario has a broad range of experience across industries in the corporate, nonprofit and small business sectors, leading high-reach, high-impact campaigns and collaborations.  He received his BA from San Francisco State University in Communication Studies and Race and Resistance Studies. 

Mario is based in Sacramento. He has been recognized as a Next Generation LGBTQ Leader and named a Capitol Weekly 30 under 30 Rising Star. Mario sits on the LGBTQ+ Victory Campaign Board and is a 2024 New Leaders Council Fellow.
